5.0 out of 5 stars. Great fit and details!

Flattering- not a sleeping bag! Order up. I am 5'6" 135# 34B wear 8-10 with long arms and I took a Large in this parka. It falls to just below my knee cap. I love the fleece at my chin, in the pockets, at my cuffs. Wasn't sure I'd like the fleece lined body but the sleeves are lined with slippery fabric so the parka still glides over a sweater. I would not recommend this parka for someone busty or with very broad shoulders. I have 41" hips though and it fits fine there. The hood is very deep. I have not tried to adjust it yet. It seems very warm but I still need to test how wind and water proof it is. All in all I highly recommend after 2 years of trying everything out there!

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. warm but unflattering

This coat had thick down filling, and as a result seemed very warm. In addition, it was lined with soft fleece on the upper part of the torso, adding to the coziness factor. However, the material of the coat seemed a little soft and limp, which made the coat shapeless and droopy. I think a different quilting pattern would have given the coat a little more structure. Finally, the zipper did not seem especially good quality. I ended up preferring a similar product, the Eddie Bauer Lodge Down Parka, for its sharper, more put together look.

Very warm and puffy. Full sized hood. I am 5’6” 130 lbs. with long arms and the medium fit well with a fuzzy fleece under it. A small would also fit if not for wearing layers underneath.

This coat is very perfect for me. I’m 5’1” 120lbs and the small fit me perfectly. It has everything that I am looking for, for a coat..fur,long length, with hood, water resistant and good for cold weather. This is an awesome find. I will buy a different color if only there’s an option. It’s worth every penny. At first I was hesitant to buy anything from “siera trading post” in general due to some negative reviews..but I would say give them a chance and give their items a try. Mine arrived fast. Only took I guess less than 5days. The item was packaged well. If for some reason, your item(s) is not what you expected, you can always return it.

Thanks Sierra Trading Post for this wonderful coat. ??

I wanted to keep this jacket so bad! It's so warm and snuggly but it was just too tight across the chest! I'm a 36 B and it was just too tight-I am so bummed because it's exactly what I was looking for but didn't want to feel that pull across my chest.

About Marmot

Conceived in a university dorm room by a pair of climbing buddies, Marmot Mountain Works first opened its doors in the spring of 1974 in Grand Junction, Colorado. At the time, the base of operations was a 100-year-old stone building. That same year, the first Marmot down jacket was produced specifically for an action flick called “The Eiger Sanction,” starring legendary actor Clint Eastwood. In the four decades since, Marmot has continued to engineer reliable gear that exceeds the expectations of outdoor athletes. Today, Marmot tents, backpacks, outerwear, clothing and Marmot sleeping bags are still pushing the limits in the planet’s most challenging conditions, from the summits of the world’s highest mountains to the deepest river basins.
