These pants have just the right amount of stretch in all directions which makes them very comfortable. I am 140 lbs and 5' 8" and ordered a size 8 and they fit perfectly. The pants are well made.

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Hiking pants

I would consider these pants as winter hiking pants. Unfortunately they were a bit small in the waist so they were returned. Would love to try them in one size bigger if they were available.

Love these, my only issue was I ordered my normal size and they are tight in the waist. Waiting for the next size bigger added to their stock. Might just keep these and lose 5 pounds, :)
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. The sharp like ski pants

fit litter longer, the sharp like ski pants, high quality~comfortable~ designed elastic fabric is used in different part of the pants, move free~~for hiking ski, not in urban~
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Nice pants for outdoor recreating

I am 5'9" 136 lbs and the size 10 was just long enough for my legs. The waist and thighs are a little roomy, but I plan to wear thermals under these in the winter, so they're perfect. The material seems very durable in all the right places, the black is like a "soft shell" material. They are really comfortable and just stretchy enough. Nice pockets and zippers, just well-made pants overall.
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Fantastic for TRAVEL
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Susimrpm from Northeast PA on Friday, March 3, 2017
I travel often and wanted a pair of no wrinkle and look great pants for long 18hour flights. A friend was wearing hiking pants and I thought hmmmm they would be great for travel. No wrinkle, repellant, comfy. I knew Sierra would have just what I imagined. They did. These fit beautifully and will work fabulously on my long trip to Spain. Pockets, nice fit, length, fur doesn't stick. I love them. If there are any left buy them! The price was perfect.

About Marmot

Conceived in a university dorm room by a pair of climbing buddies, Marmot Mountain Works first opened its doors in the spring of 1974 in Grand Junction, Colorado. At the time, the base of operations was a 100-year-old stone building. That same year, the first Marmot down jacket was produced specifically for an action flick called “The Eiger Sanction,” starring legendary actor Clint Eastwood. In the four decades since, Marmot has continued to engineer reliable gear that exceeds the expectations of outdoor athletes. Today, Marmot tents, backpacks, outerwear, clothing and Marmot sleeping bags are still pushing the limits in the planet’s most challenging conditions, from the summits of the world’s highest mountains to the deepest river basins.
