I wear a 13 shoe, and usually never have problems when I order a 13 shoe. I have ordered online before, and multiple times from Sierra Trading Post. This was my first pair of Mizuno's, and I was excited because of their rich history with the sport of volleyball. My goal was to wear them during my workouts, and then on the court this summer when working with my volleyball team. After the first workout my toes hurt. Despite the shoe size saying 13, they were too small, and my feet were sore as a result of a 1 hour indoor workout on padded flooring. I can only imagine what my feet would feel like on a hardwood gym floor.

Beware the pair I purchased initially were small for the size marked; a full size larger works well - one pair is not a sample, but that's the way it was for this pair. Sierra Trading Post made it right.

I have worn size 13 shoes for 58 year, regularly wear rotation of 10 or so shoes and boots sized 13, but my toes poke the ends of these 13's. Not a plus for active wear. By all means, buy these shoes - they are a great value - but order up one size.
