This is my second pair of marmot pants. I absolutely love them! They are comfortable, functional, and look good. (What else could a girl ask for??) True to size, have enough stretch to move, yet not baggy.

I took a chance on these because of the great price, but there’s usually a reason for that, and it will be a struggle to coordinate this shade of green with much. But they are truly nice pants.
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Nice Pants- strange sizing

I guess that I should have read the reviews before my wife ordered these pants. She always wears a size 6 and that is what we ordered. They have a very short waist and not only did the 6 not fit, but neither did the 8. She finally fit into the size 10. Believe it when we say to order 2 sizes up unless you are a teenager. Thanks to Sierra it did not cost too much for the 2 returns. The pants themselves are very nice, if you can find the right fit.
  • 3.0 out of 5 stars. Great pants if you order a size or two up

Very nice, soft fabric that dries quickly but isn't that nylon-y stuff. Rolled-up cuffs can be secured with pairs of elastic button-holder loops on each leg rather than flappy strips of fabric. My only complaint is the sizing/shape- ordered my regular size and had to exchange for 2 sizes up, as I am a woman with hips, and it seems that these must've been designed for a teenage boy's figure.

About Marmot

Conceived in a university dorm room by a pair of climbing buddies, Marmot Mountain Works first opened its doors in the spring of 1974 in Grand Junction, Colorado. At the time, the base of operations was a 100-year-old stone building. That same year, the first Marmot down jacket was produced specifically for an action flick called “The Eiger Sanction,” starring legendary actor Clint Eastwood. In the four decades since, Marmot has continued to engineer reliable gear that exceeds the expectations of outdoor athletes. Today, Marmot tents, backpacks, outerwear, clothing and Marmot sleeping bags are still pushing the limits in the planet’s most challenging conditions, from the summits of the world’s highest mountains to the deepest river basins.
