Still too much snow here to wear them outside, but could definitely wear them at work. You could dress them up or just wear for casual. Very nice looking boot and I can't wait to wear them.

They probably would stretch out on the sides if I had opted to keep them, but I sent them back because I didn't like the plain-ness of them in addition to the tightness. They look exactly as pictured, however.

"Nappa" is a generic term for soft leather and the boots do feel very supple. Outsole is flexible and of synthetic polymer. Comfortable. Lining also appears to be leather and is stitched together very nicely with the upper nappa. Well-made, worth the price. Made in Portugal.

The reason why I returned the Ara Terry boots is that they were extremely tight around the toe and bunion area - so tight it hurt. I also didn't like the design with the pointed front. Other than that, these are nice, feminine-looking boots in high German quality. They seem to have first-class leather both inside and out and a non-slippery sole, which I always highly appreciate. I would recommend ordering these boots half a size up from your regular size.
