Runs small, & thin ~Reviewed by Anonymous from FL on Wednesday, June 10, 2015This is the sort of garment which *should be displayed on a model, so shoppers get a better idea of fit & fabric*. Just got this last week, haven't worn it yet, still trying to decide if I'll keep or return. It's pretty, basically, but as others have said, the fabric is thin & somewhat loosely woven! Since the Large is a very close fit on me (& I wear a medium or large 99% of the time) I'm not sure that just a bra will be enough of an under-garment. The length is *OK*, but is not the "longish" top u see on the website. Haven't measured it yet, but I don't think that it's 25". Husband has several Columbia shirts, & they seem to be cut generously, as opposed to the last 3 Columbia tops I've gotten, which really run small. Too bad....

Fabric felt nice but such a thin, loose weave that I would have to wear camisole with it.- didn't seem to make sense for such a light, summery top. The cut was a nice shape. I was sorry it didn't work for me.

Style: basic styling, what you see is what you get. I liked the style, but it is less versatile than I expected. The knit also stretches out a bit during wearing.
Color: Love the kiwi-seasalt color.
Fit: It is semi-fitted. Feedback from other reviewers say size up, but a L was too big for my medium body. It is such a thin knit, it gets the structure from close fit to your body, so the large is shapeless on me.
I have already washed/dried this a couple times- it did not shrink (I wanted it to shrink 1 size). I'll bring in the side seams to try to get this to a happy wardrobe piece. -

The velvet morning/kettle is a beautiful muted grey/purple color. The 3/4 sleeves & longer length flatter. The cotton material is very soft. I sized up (as usual with Columbia) and it fits great. Not sure how it will wash.
