4.0 out of 5 stars. Great prosuctVerified Buyer Reviewed by DF from NJ on Tuesday, March 3, 2015These shirts are very warm, comfortable and breathable. However, the sleeves are too short to use the thumb holes. Nonetheless, I recommend them for a day on the slopes.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great Base LayerVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from WV/PA/MD/VA on Wednesday, February 25, 2015Base Layer comes in 3 weights and this is the heavy version. It is a comfortable fit and like other Omni-Heat garments, it will improve your warmth. I am wearing it as I write and went skiing in it the past two days. I have it matched to a heavy duty bottom. The sleeve is elongated with thumb holes. This extends the base layer down into the glove. I think it improves the gloves warming function. Using the thumb hole is comfortable. It also has a zip front that forms a turtle neck collar. It washes well and dry quickly.

3.0 out of 5 stars. size smaller than announcedReviewed by Anonymous from canada on Saturday, February 14, 2015I order medium size as usually and it is smaller than other columbua medium size bought before on sierratradingpost. We have to paye attention to sizing on columbia brand now. the same problem in many Columbia items now.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Solid foundationVerified Buyer Reviewed by Eric of ATL from Atlanta on Tuesday, February 10, 2015I fell in love with the Columbia Omni-heat light weight base layer long sleeve shirts. They are especially great for wearing under bike jerseys when it is getting cold. These tops do a great job at keeping you warm and dry. The reflective layer works really well. I got the heavyweight version and I am very happy with it as well. The material is heavier and works well so far for biking and running in the cold (20-40F). Like the lightweight versions, it works well with bike jerseys and jackets. I really like that I can wear it and not get overly hot.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Good ThermalVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Twin Cities, MN on Friday, February 6, 2015Good length in the torso and sleeves. I'm 6'3" and have a thin frame. It's often difficult to find shirts with long enough sleeves that don't end up looking like a trash bag. The medium hugged my body and the thumb holes fit perfectly with out straining the material. It stretches well.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Just what I was looking for.Verified Buyer Reviewed by Ursa arctos from Wisconsin on Wednesday, February 4, 2015This is my go to base layer when the mercury drops below zero and/or for snowshoeing. The thumb holes are great for skiing too. I consider myself as average in size, and the dimensions are spot on. Quality appears to be good, but I will never use a dryer on this garment or other base layers, to prolong its life.
