4.0 out of 5 stars. Very Athletic CutVerified Buyer Reviewed by MN Cowboy from Minnesota on Wednesday, July 1, 2015I purchased this as it was such a good deal and I am glad I did. It is definitely very warm but also dries quickly and breaths very well. I purchased the M and this sweatshirt fits me like a second skin. I wasn't really expecting it to fit this tight. With that being said, it does not restrict movement. This will be great while exercising this winter and will work well as a base layer!

4.0 out of 5 stars. Nice but snugVerified Buyer Reviewed by Baja Bert from San Diego on Thursday, June 18, 2015This is a very nice quality item and I love it! Comfortable and warm but not too hot when you start getting active. The only thing you need to be aware of is the very athletic fit. You can't order up a size, because then it will be too long in the arms and waist. If you've got a big gut, this will look silly on you. if you are trim, this is awesome! I am 5'9" and 160 and the medium fits great!

5.0 out of 5 stars. Ultra light, ultra verstileVerified Buyer Reviewed by Happy Hiker from Bay Area, CA on Thursday, June 11, 2015At 8oz, it's 1/2 the mass of most other active-layers. The grid-fleece traps air efficiently to provide good insulation and breathability. The fit is appropriately athletic (close fitting) but with good elasticity for movement. It's a perfect mid-layer or outer layer on non-freezing days. I wear it over my 150 Icebreaker on cooler non-windy days (to 32F = 0C) when out hiking/running. FIT: I am 5'10", 155 lbs, slim athletic, and I take size M. It would fit if I were 10 lbs heavier b/c of the elasticity.

5.0 out of 5 stars. WowVerified Buyer Reviewed by bill from folsom on Wednesday, March 25, 2015i climbed red lake peak (10,000 + feet Sierra Nevada ) in February with my brother. Arcteryx shell, marmot hybrid alpinist hoodie jacket midlayer, and marmot thermofleece hoodie sweatshirt next to my skin. winds blowing at 30 MPH, on the peak, we ate lunch. i could have been sitting in my kitchen at home, i was that comfortable. having good equipment is such a pleasure. nothing got cold, nothing got wet.

5.0 out of 5 stars. gotta love the Power DryVerified Buyer Reviewed by 1Yotee from Syracuse, NY on Sunday, March 1, 2015Picked up the un-hooded 1/4 zip model first, as I'm more of a hat guy than hood guy, but decided to grab one of these with the full zip also. I like a wool base so I wear this mid and really like the full zip for that. And that little extra on top (hood) is great. Fits under everything from bike helmet to hats. Marmot fit and finish are second to none as usual.

5.0 out of 5 stars. AwesomeVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Knoxville, TN on Tuesday, February 17, 2015Lightweight, extremely warm. Can feel it breathe. Only down side campfire embers will burn a hole in it. True to size.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great running topVerified Buyer Reviewed by Eric of ATL from Atlanta on Tuesday, February 10, 2015This hoodie is great for the cold weather. I use it to run in and have been very happy with it. It fits like all Marmot tops fit. It works well with a columbia omniheat base layer. It doesn't look like all the other fleece hoodies out there. Overall I am happy with my purchase.

5.0 out of 5 stars. The Baselayer I was looking for!Reviewed by Gearhed79 from MN on Friday, October 25, 2013I finally found a med weight baselayer with a hood and athletic cut. This fits like a glove and is super warm for it's relatively light weight. I wear under a t-shirt or fleece depending on the weather. Moves really well for cold weather activities.
