5.0 out of 5 stars. Beautiful enough for a Paris evening, tough enough for canyoneering

This is my new go-to shirt for all travel. I tried on or looked at almost every white button down on the market. This one is beautiful. By the way, it is very light eggshell which I very much prefer as a great deal more flattering then bleached-out white. I am buying a second one and plan to change the buttons to a slightly fancier type for fancier travel. It can be washed in a sink or the shower, dries in an instant, doesnt wrinkle, and really resists odor. I wore it on an 80° day in the desert sun for hours and it really wasn't smelly. I havenothing but compliments for this shirt.

I am 5'3", very slender with narrow shoulders, bought a small. The sleeves are long. What else is new? I just double them up. For a neater look, you can button the wrists thru backwards after folding them back so the buttons show like French cuffs. The body fits well for hiking. I am going to buy the XS as my fancier one so it is less blousy in the torso.

I have thes late or whatever it's called, also. It is sort of a deep grey with a hint of blue.

This shirt is cut such that, worn over a T wirh a scarf or jewelry, it can double as an over-layer/jacket.

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Great outdoor UPF shirt!

I was looking for a new outdoor shirt with UPF. I like long sleeves that can roll-up on warmer days. This Marmot button front shirt is great! The fit is true to size, with zip pockets. I especially like the shape as it is feminine and the roll-up sleeves with ribbon detail and loop to attach to the button at the perfect spot. Well designed, super comfy and looks great on the trail or out and about town.

About Marmot

Conceived in a university dorm room by a pair of climbing buddies, Marmot Mountain Works first opened its doors in the spring of 1974 in Grand Junction, Colorado. At the time, the base of operations was a 100-year-old stone building. That same year, the first Marmot down jacket was produced specifically for an action flick called “The Eiger Sanction,” starring legendary actor Clint Eastwood. In the four decades since, Marmot has continued to engineer reliable gear that exceeds the expectations of outdoor athletes. Today, Marmot tents, backpacks, outerwear, clothing and Marmot sleeping bags are still pushing the limits in the planet’s most challenging conditions, from the summits of the world’s highest mountains to the deepest river basins.
