Very comfortable and seemed to have decent traction. I then spent a week in the white mountains and almost killed myself on the first hike. If they got wet at all it was like walking on ice and they gave out on me on a dry slab and I took a tumble.
I switched to the Altra Olympus 3 (also from Sierra) the next day and the difference was night and day. -
