True to size and even a little extra room in the shaft for us girls with healthy calves. They needed no breaking in and you can easily wear them comfortable for 8-10 hours at a time.

I did buy a 7 and wear a 6.5 in a shoe and 7 in a running shoe. The 7 is a little bit big so a sock will work with it. I think the 6.5 may have been too small. Ample room for the toes.

I read other reviews and people were having problems with sizing. I ordered a 7 probably could have gone with a 6 1/2, just wearing thicker socks.. They feel and look great. Lots of compliments!
