They run just slightly narrow but it's fine. And the soles are very smooth which does make them slippery. I think with time they will get less slick.

They are a little longer in the toe than I am used to but that's the way with the cowboy boot styling, so it's not a complaint. The silvery brown color is very eye catching - even guys ask me about them!

I'm glad I didn't get a size larger. The web description says they run big, but I have a high in-step, so figured I need the any extra space, and I was right. They are super stylish, and I love the dark brown color because really, who needs a pair of brown "and" black boots when the brown is a rich cappuccino color and can pretty much double as both. I'm 100% happy w/the purchase.
