It's significantly lighter than a real, fuzzy flannel shirt, but it is a flannel-like material of a significantly lighter material. It's almost like a soft chambray. I got the style displayed and it's a little more coffee-brown than the picture, which looks more charcoal gray. I like the omni-wick feature to help dry the material if I sweat it up. I wear it frequently in mildly cool conditions. Under a shell, it provides some casual insulation. I'm looking for another one!

The shirts are very nice, but they are not flannel. They are like any other button up shirt. Remind me of American Eagle or something. If youre just looking for a simple collar shirt, these work great. Not gonna be keep you warm like real flannel though.
