We haven't had snow yet so my daughter hasn't had a chance to try them out. But, they are nice and she is excited to wear them!

I would not recommend buying them because its unlikely this size charts are any good
I do not like to admit that a good deal sometimes comes with strings attached - but Im willing to jump anyway to save a few dollars -

Wrong sizing!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Calgary on Monday, May 19, 2014These mittens are tiny!!!I bought them for my daughter who just turned 8 and is slightly taller than her peers...but I bought them size 10-12and they were too small!! We gave them to friends that have a 6 year old and she did fit them.
We also bought the gloves from Columbia size 8-10 and they were a good fit for her, so I don't know what went wrong with the sizing for these mittens. -
