She hates puffy jackets, and while this has a bit of 'puff' to it, it is not at all bulky. It is, however, very fitted. If you would like to comfortably wear heavy sweaters under this, definitely go up a size. We would have given it 5 stars if it had been more obvious on the website that the jacket was navy blue...
