I like it so much I purchased a second as a back up. With STP coupons this hat is a bargain. I will put my second one in a box on a shelf until I have worn the first one out.

The Risistol was too large as size implied. The Biltmore felt fit perfect as measured 22.5 in. or 57. Tight hats cause me to have headaches. This hat stays on my head and does not cause headaches.
Dorfman Pacific is the parent company to Biltmore Hats. Which purchased the hat company and moved it from Canada to Texas. I have never had a felt hat and right out of the box I liked it. So light you do not even notice it is on your head. The hat is quality and made in Texas, USA. I have worn it in the wind and rain. 15-20 mph winds did not blow it off my head. In the rain it kept me dry and the rain out of my eyes. Skin cancer has caused me to ware hats. This hat has caused me to want to ware a hat.
The hat band I assume is pheasant. I thought it was fake until my Yellow Lab was sniffing it and was real interested in it. I left the dog and hat in the truck for a few minutes. Upon returning I found my dog had removed the hat from the dash board of my truck and left it in my seat un-damaged but with a slobber mark on the brim. Only one year old but she knows her birds. -

The dimensional brim is fantastic & gives it a nice "swoop". I wish I'd of gotten one from Canada, but they're made in Texas now.
This is a good deal, any way you look at it, imho.
