They fit a bit tight over the toes (not too short, they compress the tops of my big toes, if that makes sense). In fact they are a little big length-wise. Still, they work great with shorts, capris, skinny jeans and the like for jaunts around town (as long as there isn't miles of walking!). "Cute shoes!" has been a common refrain from friends, colleagues and family.

My hiking sneakers let me slip all over on docks or in boats I need these for rainy days and on my dock or boat. My jungle mocks keep me from slipping all winter and these should keep me on my feet all summer and into the fall.I love all my Merril shoes cant function with out them

Not that large. I returned the 8.5s for 9's - my usual size. They are a bit loose in the heel but they don't slip off; the 8.5s made my toes scrunch up. They are flats not oxfords so as long as they stay on my feet (and they do!) I can deal with a little looseness. Merrells are one of my favorite brands. Solid workmanship and good grip on the sole. I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 just because of the looseness; the quality is great. And the colors are so very purple and pink! Happy Happy!

These still don't fit perfectly, but they aren't falling off my foot. My toes are uncomfortable after a few hours of walking. The larger ones might have solved this problem, but since they were too loose in the back…...
