5.0 out of 5 stars. Excellent gripVerified Buyer Reviewed by Jordan the worker from Minneapolis on Sunday, May 8, 2016I haven't tried these out on the lake yet but on a rainy day you could almost hear the grip. The shoes is a little stiff but better then a leather boating shoe.

3.0 out of 5 stars. What does Bonehead refer to?Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Northern California on Thursday, April 21, 2016The advertisement writer didn't have a pair in hand when they wrote the blurb. The Ports at midsole are painted circles to mimic drains! Not sure where the water would go from the 'quick-draining insole'. Luckily, the quick-draining insole is removable as it offers no arch support. My own arch supports fit after removal of the quick-drainers. Using sizes from other boat shoe companies this pair fit well at same indicated size. Not sure what the drains in the heel are supposed to do. If the heels were solid there wouldn't be water to drain. They do offer very good skid resistance, and non-marking, on the boat deck. Did the Bonehead question get answered? I'd let the Closeouts quietly slip into the deep.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Almost a winnerVerified Buyer Reviewed by Spaniel from Charleston, SC on Wednesday, June 17, 2015I returned these upon receiving them. The quality seemed fine, but the soles were so soft, I could only imagine wearing them on a boat in rough seas (for their shock absorption capabilities). On land they offer little stability and support: softer soles than crocs, but with a worse tendency to roll.
