5.0 out of 5 stars. Love the extra wiggle room!

Since this will be for car camping, the extra size and weight is no bother. I don't care for the confined feeling in a mummy bag, so this is perfect. Love the zipper on each side so I can flip the flap down to read or sit up. Haven't used it outdoors yet so not sure of the warmth factor, but I don't plan on using it in temps below 40 degrees anyways. Originally purchased the regular length, but even at 5'8", felt it was too short for me so returned it and got the long version of the same bag. Happy so far!

I am 6' 210# and this bag was humongous. I have been looking for a lightweight bag that I can move in. I thought this was it but unfortunately, it was just too big. It would fit me, my pack, maybe my nephew. I ended up with this same bag but the "regular" version. If you are looking for a relatively light weight large bag this is it. Because there was so much space, I knew it would not be warm enough for my needs.

Marmot did good with this sleeping bag, its not a mummy and its not a rectangle. It's a good choice all around. The only thing I had a difficult time with is getting it into its stuff sack, other than that, I LIKE!!!!

I've not tested it outside yet, but crawling inside in my living room I got toasty pretty fast. I'm usually a cold sleeper, so even though I'm mostly a summer camper I like it's cooler rating. The foot box is plenty big for my women's size 10.5, which is a big plus. I'm about 5'9, size 12 ish. It's big enough to "burrow" in, which means its' tall enough I can pull the top over my head, which I love. I usually camp at events, so I like a little bit of reduced noise and light from others. Only reason it's not five stars is I've not used it outside yet and it's true warmth remains to be seen.

About Marmot

Conceived in a university dorm room by a pair of climbing buddies, Marmot Mountain Works first opened its doors in the spring of 1974 in Grand Junction, Colorado. At the time, the base of operations was a 100-year-old stone building. That same year, the first Marmot down jacket was produced specifically for an action flick called “The Eiger Sanction,” starring legendary actor Clint Eastwood. In the four decades since, Marmot has continued to engineer reliable gear that exceeds the expectations of outdoor athletes. Today, Marmot tents, backpacks, outerwear, clothing and Marmot sleeping bags are still pushing the limits in the planet’s most challenging conditions, from the summits of the world’s highest mountains to the deepest river basins.
