  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Great quality, excellent price, 700 fill of 24 ounces

Down is warm, treated down even better - this bag has a good volume of fill weight at a high fill power making for a warm, lightweight and compresable sleeping bag that will retain its loft far longer than synthetics. This bag is roomy and good for tent, bivey or dry climate camping. Bargain price for a high quality bag that has served me well and kept me warm at temps as low as 10 (in a tent) and low as 20 bar ground camping (with aip pad).

So far so good with this sleeping bag. Seems to be well constructed. The only thing I would change would be the left handed zipper but we will see how that goes. Very warm bag, I'm going to put it to the test within a month.

About Marmot

Conceived in a university dorm room by a pair of climbing buddies, Marmot Mountain Works first opened its doors in the spring of 1974 in Grand Junction, Colorado. At the time, the base of operations was a 100-year-old stone building. That same year, the first Marmot down jacket was produced specifically for an action flick called “The Eiger Sanction,” starring legendary actor Clint Eastwood. In the four decades since, Marmot has continued to engineer reliable gear that exceeds the expectations of outdoor athletes. Today, Marmot tents, backpacks, outerwear, clothing and Marmot sleeping bags are still pushing the limits in the planet’s most challenging conditions, from the summits of the world’s highest mountains to the deepest river basins.
