5.0 out of 5 stars. Awesome Bag, Great Price

Marmot bags I am gathering are really great options. This is my first down sleeping bag and cannot be more impressed. Zips nicely, attention to detail all around the bag. Baffles are great, down distributes nicely and the fit is great. I am only 6' but it was nice to have the extra length to really tuck down into if it were to get too cold. has a nice zipper stop to prevent snagging.

I expect to get years of great use out of this bag.

As the previous reviewer stated, it took great effort to get it into the xxsmall stuff sack provided. I am sure this is not accounting for the Long size. it fits, but it's a workout to get it into the sack. I am looking to replace it with a waterproof bag anyway.

I put it on the scale and with sack its 36.10 oz.

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Very good down bag!.

Very well made, warm, light down bag! This bag is made from quality fabric on the outside. It will keep you warm down to around 20 degrees. It packs to a very manageable size for your pack. It is a good bag for through hiking. A word of caution; it will in no way fit in the supplied small sack for hiking. I had to buy a reasonably sized small compression sack. I did not think it prudent to stomp and mash it into the supplied sack which is the size of a baseball. The storage sack the comes with it is just fine for storage.

About Marmot

Conceived in a university dorm room by a pair of climbing buddies, Marmot Mountain Works first opened its doors in the spring of 1974 in Grand Junction, Colorado. At the time, the base of operations was a 100-year-old stone building. That same year, the first Marmot down jacket was produced specifically for an action flick called “The Eiger Sanction,” starring legendary actor Clint Eastwood. In the four decades since, Marmot has continued to engineer reliable gear that exceeds the expectations of outdoor athletes. Today, Marmot tents, backpacks, outerwear, clothing and Marmot sleeping bags are still pushing the limits in the planet’s most challenging conditions, from the summits of the world’s highest mountains to the deepest river basins.
