5.0 out of 5 stars. Great shoes for trekking across UKVerified Buyer Reviewed by UK trekker from Kansas on Monday, August 11, 2008Bought these shoes for a two week tour of UK; anticipated that we might need Goretex shoes for wet weather and puddles. Shoes held up wonderfully in shallow puddles and in rain, non-skid soles were perfect for climbing over castle ruins and uneven terrain and cobblestone streets. Most comfortable shoes I've had in a long time. Agree with other reviews of a half size small, so bought one full size larger (since half sizes weren't available). Shoes were ultimately a touch larger than I'm accustomed to, but were quite comfortable and feet didn't slide around in shoe.

- Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational
- Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Non-slip sole, Stable, Water Resistant
- Sizing: Feels half size too small

4.0 out of 5 stars. Great on the feet and weak on the ankleVerified Buyer Reviewed by Gardening Guido from Leuven, BELGIUM,Europe on Monday, July 7, 2008Great shoe, although the soles look ugly, almost too heavy. My wife complains about the amounts of mud I drag into the house when I'm wearing them, but they feel great on my feet. Sizing is something to be careful with: normally I have a 12, these shoes are 13 (sizing is rather small)...Not suitable for rock climbing and heavy-on-the-ankle treks: not enough ankle support (got a twitched ankle recently wearing them)

- Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Non-slip sole, Water Resistant
- Sizing: Feels half size too big

4.0 out of 5 stars. He's back from Costa RicaVerified Buyer Reviewed by Mom from Stillwater NJ on Sunday, July 6, 2008My son is back from a 10 day Backpacking trip in Costa Rica. The shoes performed great! Comfortable and water resistant, except when wading through streams! They were light weight, dried fast, great support and very little breakin time needed. All in all, they performed just the way he wanted them to.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Great shoes even if sizing is wrongVerified Buyer Reviewed by Baldo the magnificent from Hills of East Tennessee on Thursday, June 26, 2008Ordered a size 12 and it felt more like an 11. I normally wear a 11.5. Reordered size 13 [...] In the end, I'm very happy with the overall comfort and weight. Laces are way too slick and require doubleknots
