5.0 out of 5 stars. Cachalot CapVerified Buyer Reviewed by Adk Adventure Guy from Ny's Adk's on Saturday, February 20, 2016Really nice cap. Nice close fit, drape is just long enough to cover your neck and will tuck up into the hat when not needed. Bill is just right, long enough to shield the sun and slightly curved. I can't speak to the bug resistance, it's mid winter, but just having your ears and neck covered will be a big benefit with bugs. Excellent value in general and even better at STP. Two possible improvements would be a black under bill to absorb reflected light and a Velcro adjustment but they don't deter from the 5 star rating.

4.0 out of 5 stars. GOOD COVERAGE FOR BLACK FLY SEASONVerified Buyer Reviewed by Bob in NH from New Hampshire on Thursday, February 11, 2016Got this for black fly season up here in the north country. Fits well with adjustments available. Will most likely use kayaking and hiking during the infestation periods of spring and summer. Hope it works as advertised.

4.0 out of 5 stars. nice capVerified Buyer Reviewed by GEH from Florida on Saturday, September 12, 2015One size fits most works for 6 to 60 in my family. Neck drape OK but could fold in better if slightly less bulky. only use will determine bug and sun claims,

4.0 out of 5 stars. Nice hatVerified Buyer Reviewed by WIO from Michigan on Thursday, August 20, 2015I haven't worn this yet around bugs but it is well constructed and fits well. I usually wear a large and there is still room for a bigger head. The neck flap provides good coverage and doesn't feel too weird or look that geeky when folded up inside the hat.
