It's got a substantial full lining but is not insulated inside. Warm enough to be useful, not so warm you have to take it off indoors. Fabric is a fuzzy soft blend, but the quilted interpretation of a blazer was a short-lived fun trend that may not be useful long term. I enjoy it for the whimsical similarity to a old fashioned quilted smoking jacket, and it does that domestic duty well.
