The story behind Life is good® clothing began in 1989, when two brothers named Bert and John decided to start making T-shirts. For five years, the brothers sold shirts from the back of their van all along the east coast. Although the venture produced good stories, it wasn’t very lucrative. That changed in 1994 when the brothers came up with a simple concept that combined a smiling logo they called “Jake” and a slogan: Life is good®. After printing 48 shirts for a local street fair, the sold every single shirt by noon and a brand was born. Two decades later, Life is good® shirts, apparel and accessories are still keeping the good vibes flowing with great products for people who appreciate the good life.

1.0 out of 5 stars. This is a slim cut shirt!Reviewed by KP from Texas on Saturday, May 16, 2026My husband has numerous Life is Good tees all in size Large. When laid flat this one is a good 2" more narrow than his other shirts. Disappointing. When I received my order of multiple tees in this brand I took the tags off and washed them so unfortunately cannot return. I will always check the sizing in the future!
