2.0 out of 5 stars. Very ThickReviewed by Lorena from CA on Wednesday, February 22, 2023These just barely cover your calves. They won't feel good under a pair of knee high boots. Didn't realize they were a clearance item or I wouldn't have purchased. Socks have to be just right.

3.0 out of 5 stars. warm but shortReviewed by REB from Maryland on Thursday, November 17, 2022These socks are thick and warm. I don't ski, but will use them under boots for shoveling. BUT they are not over-the-calf (at least for me; I am 5'4"); they fall at the calf, at the widest part of leg below the knee. That probably is why they started to slip a bit while I was hiking. Perhaps under ski boots that's not a problem.
The patterns are pretty and the socks are warm. I think they'll be good for lounging around the house on cold snow days.
