5.0 out of 5 stars. Nice - really like it

Really well made jacket, the body is a little long so it covers your butt even while seated. The hood design allows it to tight so it should stay put in a wind but not choke you from being too tight. Seems like good quality and the fit seems to run true to size. Haven't been able to try it out yet out on the boat in any heavy weather but it seems like it will do just fine in the elements.

I liked the Adidas jacket for $49.99 better than this jacket, so I returned it.

  • 2.0 out of 5 stars. Great color, odd cut

I had high hopes for this jacket as I need one that is cut longer than most and I love the color. Unfortunately, while the jacket length was great, the sleeves were extra long, and the armpits were so tight I could not comfortably wear it. Sadly, I returned it.

About Marmot

Conceived in a university dorm room by a pair of climbing buddies, Marmot Mountain Works first opened its doors in the spring of 1974 in Grand Junction, Colorado. At the time, the base of operations was a 100-year-old stone building. That same year, the first Marmot down jacket was produced specifically for an action flick called “The Eiger Sanction,” starring legendary actor Clint Eastwood. In the four decades since, Marmot has continued to engineer reliable gear that exceeds the expectations of outdoor athletes. Today, Marmot tents, backpacks, outerwear, clothing and Marmot sleeping bags are still pushing the limits in the planet’s most challenging conditions, from the summits of the world’s highest mountains to the deepest river basins.
