Nice light windbreaker for the price. It fits snug, so order up a size for layering.
Very soft material, easily stowed in zip pocket. Great jacket for Florida beach walks.

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Usual Marmot quality

This is the best design - for my use - that I have seen. And I searched all the major hiking, cycling and running brands. Super light, simple construction, 1 pocket for sunglasses/energy bar/stuff or to stash the jacket into, comfortable cuffs, good cut, attractive, and of high importance a longer and long enough back. I walk (8 - 10 miles each outing) and cycle (50+ miles each outing) and really use this jacket to keep the chill off as I get started. I have 4 of these jackets: 1 dedicated to cycling, 1 in a small backpack for walking, and 1 in my daily bag/purse to withstand chilly grocery stores or restaurants. Plus the 4th as backup in case these disappear off the market. These are keepers. My oldest one is over a year old and shows no wear after regular use.
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Great top layer

Very lightweight jacket-awesome to layer over your clothes on those chilly morning runs. I've worn it several times in 20-30 degree weather over just a quarter zip running top-kept me nice and dry. I got the green and yellow-it's pretty bright....my husband thinks I look like an Easter egg....I don't care... I Love it!
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Great Light Weight Jacket

I love this jacket. It is super light weight - so perfect to carry around in case the weather changes. I ordered a size up from my normal size which will allow me to layer it over a fleece. I thought it ran just a bit small/short. I am 5'6" 140 lbs and the large worked for me. It is roomy, so if you want a more fitted jacket, order you typical size.
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Amazing for Runners

I LOVE this jacket for my long cold runs. It keeps me warm without making me too hot, I can keep it on during my whole run. Also, on my first run in it, I was stuck in an absolute DOWNPOUR for about 3 miles, My shirt underneath did not get wet at ALL. Highly recommend this jacket!
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Great Wind/Rain Running Jacket

Really great light-weight wind/rain jacket. I appreciate the pocket in the back - works for carrying something small while running and then the jacket can be folded into the zippered pocket when you're done using it. I would recommend sizing up, as others have suggested. I got a medium and for reference am 5'4" 140 lbs. A large would have been better, but I'm keeping the medium because of how functional this jacket is. I have still been able to wear it with at least 2-3 layers for cooler days.

About Marmot

Conceived in a university dorm room by a pair of climbing buddies, Marmot Mountain Works first opened its doors in the spring of 1974 in Grand Junction, Colorado. At the time, the base of operations was a 100-year-old stone building. That same year, the first Marmot down jacket was produced specifically for an action flick called “The Eiger Sanction,” starring legendary actor Clint Eastwood. In the four decades since, Marmot has continued to engineer reliable gear that exceeds the expectations of outdoor athletes. Today, Marmot tents, backpacks, outerwear, clothing and Marmot sleeping bags are still pushing the limits in the planet’s most challenging conditions, from the summits of the world’s highest mountains to the deepest river basins.
