    I ordered these because I really liked the strapping over top of the shoe to keep them from shifting around, but this is not what I received. I ordered a L/XL also and they were exactly as these are pictured, but the Mediums I ordered are basically just the bottom section, with nothing over the shoe to hold them in place. First time out I had to stop over and over to put them back on. Don't waste your money.

    At first, when I initially tried these dryers out I did it outdoors because I was a little afraid that the might cause an odor issue. In the morning I checked my wading boots and they were still pretty damp. There wasn't any odor so I moved them inside and let them go overnight and by morning the boots were dry. The dryers do not get that hot and seem safe so I will recommend them. They aren't real fast but they do work well enough for me.

    This came loose in the shipping box, it had fallen out of it's packaging. I thought perhaps it was a returned item, so I half expected it not to work. I plugged it in, no sound or breeze whatsoever. BUT, it works by convection. It worked perfectly to dry out boots. I'm not sure how quickly it would work with really sweaty boots, but certainly they'd be dry overnight.
