The jacket fit in the waist and hips but was quite tight in the shoulders and upper arms. I'm 5'6" 150lb so I bought a large jacket. I usually buy petite M tops because my shoulders and arms are smaller/shorter than average, so I thought this jacket might still fit me. It didn't work at all! I'm pretty fit and couldn't believe how snug the jacket was in the upper arms. It was tight across the back of the shoulders, too. I didn't think sizing up would fix the fit problem; the jacket just wasn't proportioned properly. It was too bad because I think it would have been a nice, warm jacket. I sent it back.

Great coat!Reviewed by Heidi from Michigan on Friday, February 26, 2021I loved the cut and style of this coat - I knew it would be flattering as long as the arms fit, which was the risk I took after reading the other reviews. I was replacing a parka with arms that were too bulky, so I was actually glad the arms would be slimmer cut. I ordered my regular size M (I am 5'7, 146 lbs) and yes it's snug in the arms but it still fits great! I don't need any bulky sweaters underneath because of how warm it is. I love the inner faux-vest look with the 2nd zipper. It makes it look so cute even when the outer layer is unzipped. It is very good quality, and a classy timeless look. It is just different enough not to look cookie cutter like every other winter puff coat out there right now. You definitely get more than what you pay for with this coat, with Sierra's price.
