  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. runs small

the coat size runs small. I normally wear a 3x - 4x, four x usually a little to big but room for shrinkage . I purchased this coat in the largest size it comes in, 6x, cause I layer up . glad I did because the 6x fits like a 3x - 4x. the wood buttons and cowboy rope button holes is a little cheesy, but for a work coat, play coat , I love it. nice coat should have it for years to come. I would recommend it. oh i forgot it has a zipper behind buttons storm flap.
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Updated Royal Navy Classic
Reviewed by Zauzous, the Clothes Hog from Midwest University Town on Saturday, May 23, 2020
Updated version of a classic design adopted by the British Royal Navy in the 1800ies and still available in short, mid and long lengths from original London tailors, the duffel coat evolved into a preppy classic for long romantic walks on snowy New England campuses and comfortably dashing about Harvard Square in the foulest weather en route to the T station or that hideaway battered Irish pub. Don't let the large closeout sizes scare you off: I am a beefy XXL size 50 and the 4XL fits like it was sewn especially for me. [Maybe Canadian clothes are cut similar to English ones, which is to say a size or so smaller than American counterparts?] MSRP is $325 at Schott, which is probably best known for inventing the motorcycle jacket and its varied leather goods, many American and union made. Sierra price is an absolute gift to deal with the coldest days winter has to offer.
