However, it fits well with the rest of the colors in the rug. Love that it's flat weave and natural fibers - looks great in my room!

The previous rug was poly and any spark at all melted it. So far, so good with the new one. Several small embers have sparked out of the fire box but all died quickly, with no damage to the rug.
It's a pretty rug...very Southwest Native American in flavor. It's also, near as I can tell, reversible. It's not thick but it protects bare feet from the cold tile floor nicely.
