  • 3.0 out of 5 stars. could be better

For such a small backpack, it is very heavy due to the plastic insert in the padding. The backpack is very rigid and there is not a lot of storage. I purchased this backpack because it has internal bottle holder. It is used daily for work commute, for my lunch and paperwork. After i squeeze the lunchbox and the water bottle, there is barely any room left for anything else. The backpack has a lots of padding for laptop and tablet and a rigid plastic insert. I do not think the insert is necessary and i do not see the purpose since there is so much padding already. 3 stars are given for the sturdy construction, i think it will last for at least 5 years, the internal key holder and for the internal bottle holder.
  • 1.0 out of 5 stars. Not Thule's best work

I like just about anything with the Thule name on it and had high expectations here. Unfortunately, this pack doesn't live up to it. The duffel style opening is limited so easy access is out of the question. There is a side zippered pocket but it is right on the seam and it makes using that zipper quite challenging. It is also not very big or deep. That is not at all good for a 'quick access' pocket! The material also feels cheaper than my other Thule packs and it doesn't feel like it will be very durable or long-lasting. Heck, it is problematic right out of the box! I got it on a really low sale price here but I don't feel like I got a $90 pack for $29 (as I had hoped. I feel like I got a $29 pack for $29 and that it had an inflated retail price for the Thule branding. I would never want to use this so back it goes!

Absolute garbage. Stitching on front zipper ripped out during first packing. Avoid this trash.
