The sliders are pretty good, but the lids that flip up are pretty tightly hinged so its not easy for dog paws or mouths. My puppy clearly hates this thing and gets so annoyed with it (so I guess it's doing its job). After he finishes eating he will pick it up and try to destroy it in spite. Unfortunately, the rubber stoppers that provide grip on the base can be removed by dog teeth and my pup has swallowed some.

And since finding out she was the smartest dog in the house, we can teach her things & have her help teach the others. It's been amazing. And she still loves this treat toy.
