5.0 out of 5 stars. excellent, warm and dry

I've used these boots to hike, with Yaktraks and snowshoes, and to clear the driveway and they did the job. Not for summit-ting Mt. Washington but great boot for knocking around in snow for less ambitious activities

lite, sturdy, warm, with plenty of toe room. they fit very well with a medium -heavy sock. i've worn them in 28 degree weather, with a mix of soggy grass and snow patches. performed very well.had to tighten laces after first half mile, not unusual for hiking boot. very satisfied with shoe.

Great price for Keen’s. Bought them for my husband. Wore them a few times and no complaints. They seem to run small, that’s why 4 stars. He wears an 11 and they were tight. Gave them to my dad that wears a 10 and fits him fine. I then ordered 11 1/2, they work.
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Comfy, warm, waterproof

I have Raynauld's so I need a boot that has a good bit of insulation so I ordered these bad boys. So far so good! I've hiked in these for the last few weeks in cold weather and snow, commonplace in Central NY! My feet stayed pretty warm. Walking through puddles and foot deep snow my feet stayed dry. These boots also provide good ankle support and as a minor note, look pretty nice!
My only beef is minor, the hooks at the top are kinda small and looping the laces can sometimes be a pain in the tush. Overall I'd recommend these boots for cold weather wear.
  • 3.0 out of 5 stars. Too small

The boots appear to be well made and a good value. But they were a full size under what should have been a 11.5 and i had to return them, no 12.5 or 13 available.

About Keen

Keen shoes have been helping feet find adventure since 2003, and it all began with the signature KEEN.PROTECT toe bumper. It might seem strange to build a footwear company around a feature, but that iconic toe bumper is more than just a style add-on. It’s what allows Keen sandals to hit the trails and provide the best toe protection possible. In fact, Keen was one of the first footwear companies to make closed-toed hiking sandals. Over the years, the product selection has continued to grow and now includes Keen hiking boots, trail shoes, cycling shoes, socks, clothing and bags. The brand is also actively involved in land and water conservation projects in the US, Canada, Europe and Japan.
