Keen shoes have been helping feet find adventure since 2003, and it all began with the signature KEEN.PROTECT toe bumper. It might seem strange to build a footwear company around a feature, but that iconic toe bumper is more than just a style add-on. It’s what allows Keen sandals to hit the trails and provide the best toe protection possible. In fact, Keen was one of the first footwear companies to make closed-toed hiking sandals. Over the years, the product selection has continued to grow and now includes Keen hiking boots, trail shoes, cycling shoes, socks, clothing and bags. The brand is also actively involved in land and water conservation projects in the US, Canada, Europe and Japan.

1.0 out of 5 stars. Not like you expect from KeenReviewed by R.K. from Virginia on Saturday, May 4, 2024These shoes do not have the wide foot and toe box you expect from Keen. They are well made and waterproof. But they hurt my feet horribly. My feet start to tingle and ache. These are not what I expected. I'm going to see if I can return. If you have a narrow foot maybe they are good. For me they were horrible and unstable.

5.0 out of 5 stars. So Comfy!Reviewed by HEATHER from PA on Thursday, May 2, 2024I was looking for an easy slip on for the summer and I'm not into showing my toes. These are so comfortable and easy to slip on and off. A+

2.0 out of 5 stars. Don't waste your moneyReviewed by edwinholt from Illinois on Thursday, April 11, 2024I just purchased these shoes for a backpacking trip in the desert of Arizona. Only two days out with new shoes (yes, I know you should break them in before a major hike) and I noticed the sole separating from the shoes! It was getting so bad I had to stop the trip and make it to a Walmart to purchase some Shoe Goo just to hold the shoes together to make it back home.
I am hoping this is just a fluke in the manufacturing process and that this isn't representing the quality and workmanship of Keen as a company. I am concerned it's the latter, like most companies are heading to make more profit and not worrying about the quality of their products.
Yes, you can go through the process of writing an essay, making sure you kept the receipts, and kept good notes about your purchase, creating a Keen account and submitting this all on their warranty section of their site. But...for me...it's just easier to go to another company next time.
Leaving on a good note...the shoes were comfortable for the week that they were together and fit as expected. -
3.0 out of 5 stars. Sizing is way offReviewed by ETS from Colorado on Sunday, April 7, 2024My son wears an 8t in all other keens. Had to order a 10t for them to fit.

1.0 out of 5 stars. Runs very smallReviewed by BKM from Maryland on Saturday, April 6, 2024I recently purchased a pair of boot and was eagerly anticipating trying them out. However, upon receiving them, I was met with disappointment. Despite ordering a size 8, which is typically a half size larger than my usual size 7.5, the shoes were still too small for me.
From the moment I slipped them on, it was evident that they were uncomfortably tight. Every step I took felt constricted, leaving me feeling restricted and uneasy. It was disheartening to realize that even after sizing up, the shoes failed to provide the comfort and fit I had hoped for.
As someone who values both style and functionality in footwear, this experience was particularly disappointing. Not only did I miss out on the excitement of trying out a new pair of shoes, but I also found myself facing the hassle of having to return them -
4.0 out of 5 stars. Comfortable and airyReviewed by Connie from Sierra Vista, AZ on Wednesday, April 3, 2024These shoes are a new release that are sold for almost three times the price as via Sierra.com. They are very light weight and comfortable, with excellent traction. I wear these while at work as an educator. I can walk fast on tile as well as carpet without slipping.
Due to the mesh, though, they easily let moisture in. On my first day of wearing these shoes, I walked into morning dew on the grass and got to school with wet socks and shoes. I luckily had extra socks with me and the shoes dried out enough by the end of the day. -
5.0 out of 5 stars. Super comfy!Reviewed by Aziza from California on Friday, March 29, 2024Keeps run wide/roomy, but I put a Sole brand insulated insole in them and they are perfect. Cute and comfortable. Didn't even need to break them in!

3.0 out of 5 stars. They look cheapReviewed by Piotr from NEW JERSEY on Tuesday, March 26, 2024These shoes are quite wide, almost too wide (what stands in contrast to many other brands that make very narrow hiking or walking shoes - I do not know, maybe that cater to the narrower feet of their Asian customers), but... they look really cheap, like a knockoff. Workmanship is poor. And the general impressions are very underwhelming. Despite having a generous toe box they are not all that comfortable. To me they are not worth $50. I will be returning them.

1.0 out of 5 stars. Avoid Keen Durand EVOReviewed by DFv from Arizona on Tuesday, March 19, 2024First of all Hiking Boots should be the most comfortable shoe you own. These boots are the fourth set of keens I have owned and this model does not fill that rule.
They lack arch support. They are too high for a "mid" and rubs my ankles raw on the trails. They made my feet hurt before and after breaking them in. I have tried several different sock and insole combinations and none have worked. Black boots in Arizona is a big NO for our sun, even in winter hiking. The usual roomy toe box of my past keens does not exist in this model. I can go on, but sadly, I have been disappointed by Keen this time around. -
5.0 out of 5 stars. ComfortableReviewed by Big Jake from Pittsburgh PA on Saturday, March 9, 2024I love these boots. However, I use them for work inside. I have to wear boots to work and wanted something lightweight and comfortable. These fit the bill! I bought 2 pair since the price is right. I can't attest to the waterproof or how they hold up outside the building. They only see outside on the walk to the car and back.
