Keen shoes have been helping feet find adventure since 2003, and it all began with the signature KEEN.PROTECT toe bumper. It might seem strange to build a footwear company around a feature, but that iconic toe bumper is more than just a style add-on. It’s what allows Keen sandals to hit the trails and provide the best toe protection possible. In fact, Keen was one of the first footwear companies to make closed-toed hiking sandals. Over the years, the product selection has continued to grow and now includes Keen hiking boots, trail shoes, cycling shoes, socks, clothing and bags. The brand is also actively involved in land and water conservation projects in the US, Canada, Europe and Japan.

2.0 out of 5 stars. Misleading photoReviewed by A. C. from Arizona on Thursday, March 12, 2026The photo shows a low height hiking boot/shoe, which is exactly what I wanted. I did not read the description carefully. This product is actually a mid-height boot, which is not what I want and have to return.

3.0 out of 5 stars. No arch support and heel is a bit highReviewed by Nope from Up north on Tuesday, March 10, 2026Very cute and toe box is comfy of course. But there is no arch support, which surprises me, and the heel is noticeably high for a running shoe

1.0 out of 5 stars. UncomfortableReviewed by Tina from Chicago on Tuesday, March 3, 2026These boots are incredibly uncomfortable. I bought them for a long hike through the mountains. I walked on a treadmill for one hour wearing these and my feet are aching terribly. There’s no arch support in the sole has no give. It’s hard like a 2 x 4. It looks like memory foam, but I can assure you it’s not.
Definitely do not buy these boots. And definitely don’t buy them from this website. It’s $12 shipping and five dollar restocking fee and the return feature isn’t even working. If for some reason you buy them and you don’t like them, you’re just stuck with them.
