Once on they are fine, but my daughter is not very interested in having her feet squeezed into these shoes. Not sure if a bigger size would have helped, but she is an 8 and that's what I ordered.
Quality seems great, but have to ding the shoes due to fitting issues. -

He tears up and breaks most everything, but these shoes are just as tough as my little boy. He absolutely loves them! He shows them to everyone he encounters and doesn't want to take them off. I am super pleased with this purchase and highly recommend them to anyone else looking for a good shoe for their children.

However, the lacing in these is so tight that it is a major struggle to get them on. Once the tugging and pulling is over, they fit fine but getting them on was too a big of an ordeal and now my son fights me if I try to get them on. Very disappointed.
Maybe okay for a kid with narrow feet? Hard to say.
They seem durable and the usual Keen quality. -
