5.0 out of 5 stars. Great Shoes

Good retro look and a well made shoe. The fit is excellent with a wide toe area. There is no arch support so I bought a pair of inserts at the grocery store.

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Comfy, basic shoes... kinda like Chucks

I was looking at buying a pair of Chuck Taylors for something that didn't take up a lot of space when traveling, would last quite a while, were reasonably comfortable, and offered a little more coverage than my ubiquitous Chaco sandals. These fit the bill and cost MUCH less than Converse thinks you should shell out for what really is a piece of string, some canvas and rubber. These are not hi-tech shoes. They offer virtually nothing for arch support. But for casual wear or travel, they are hard to beat.

Straight forward review, just like the tittle. They are flats, not a lot of support but didn't expect it. Similar to Chuck Taylor's. I would buy them again.
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Decent pair of fashion sneakers!

The shoes are true to size. Definitely more room in the toe box than my old Converse sneakers. Nice quality. I'd wish they felt more like my Keen sport sandals. It's still a comfortable shoe for casual wear. Nice basic styling...not too flashy.
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. These shoes rock!

I play upright bass in a 50's rock band and needed something with a retro look. I basically (get it?) stand for hours so needed something with adjustability and comfort. These shoes fit the bill, both stylin' and comfy.
Well built and true to size. Toe box is not as expanded as on most other Keens I've owned, but still not restricted or tight.

About Keen

Keen shoes have been helping feet find adventure since 2003, and it all began with the signature KEEN.PROTECT toe bumper. It might seem strange to build a footwear company around a feature, but that iconic toe bumper is more than just a style add-on. It’s what allows Keen sandals to hit the trails and provide the best toe protection possible. In fact, Keen was one of the first footwear companies to make closed-toed hiking sandals. Over the years, the product selection has continued to grow and now includes Keen hiking boots, trail shoes, cycling shoes, socks, clothing and bags. The brand is also actively involved in land and water conservation projects in the US, Canada, Europe and Japan.
